In controlled residential ventilation systems (CRVS), filters made of synthetic fabric
(fleece filters) are sometimes used in the exhaust air.
However, especially in kitchens with grease-laden air (fumes), fleece filters quickly reach their limits.
This is where the new stainless steel filter from HyLuTech comes in.
Developed to reliably separate grease particles in the exhaust air and thus effectively protect downstream components, such as air ducts and ventilation units, from contamination.
Unlike fleece filters, the stainless steel filter is easy to clean, even in the dishwasher. This makes it particularly environmentally friendly and reusable.
PROBLEMS:
Grease particles deposit in the exhaust ducts without filtration and are difficult to remove. While dust can still be brushed off, grease deposits must be dissolved with chemical cleaners.
This is time-consuming, expensive, and problematic, as the general conditions often mean that cleaning is not possible in many cases.
Our Solution:
The new stainless steel expanded metal filter from HyluTech replaces conventional fleece filters made of fabric.
Its honeycomb structure, inspired by nature, ensures significantly higher separation efficiency. Grease particles are efficiently filtered out before they contaminate the exhaust ducts and downstream components.
In the field of kitchen exhaust/range hoods, the advantages of stainless steel expanded metal filters over synthetic fabric filters were recognized many years ago.
This proven technology has been further developed and replaced in controlled residential ventilation systems by a new stainless steel expanded metal filter, which was developed and patented by HyluTech.

In most cases, the exhaust air disc valves are inserted into the air outlet and held in place by a rubber seal.
Alternatively, exhaust air disc valves have a screw cap that can be opened by gently turning it.
No tools are usually required for filter replacement.
The stainless steel expanded metal filter from HyLuTech ensures that grease and oil particles are separated directly behind the exhaust air disc valve.
This prevents contamination of the downstream exhaust ducts and the ventilation unit.
This reduces cleaning effort, minimizes the risk of fire, and extends the service life of the entire system.
